The rumoured project was to be directed by KV Vijayendra Prasad, the writer behind films like Baahubali and Bajrangi Bhaijaan.
"She (Jhanvi) has just completed graduation. Her focus should be on education now. Contrary to reports, she hasn't signed any film yet. She's young and it's too early for her to think about acting," Sridevi told IANS.
She also added that 'destiny' would decide the course of her daughter's career. "If it has to happen, she will enter films. I never planned to be an actress," she said.
Sridevi is looking forward to the release of her comeback Tamil film Puli which releases worldwide on October 1 in Hindi as well as Telugu.
