YehSaali Zindagi.
The film, slated for a February 4 release has drawnthe ire of Censor Board Chief Sharmila Tagore, who recentlywrote a letter to Mishra asking him to change the title.
Interestingly, apart from the veteran actress thefilm's title and presentation received a thumbs up from therest of the panel in the Censor Board.
"I don't think there should be any objection to thetitle of the film. If there is any problem than the CensorBoard should provide a strong valid reason," Irrfan told PTI.
"Personally I don't think a word like 'saali' shouldbe a reason of controversy. In our society a relationshipbetween 'jija' and 'saali' exists and in actual life we callit by this name only," said the actor, who received criticalacclaim for his roles in
Maqbool, Haasil and
SlumdogMillionaire.
The film, which also stars Chitrangada Singh, ArunodaySingh, Saurabh Shukla, was first titled as
Dil Dar Badar butwas changed afterwards on the basis of an online poll to makeit apt to its storyline.
The 48-year-old actor also cited the example of DilipKumar song from film

Spiderman Reboot is currently busy juggling his careerbetween Bollywood and Hollywood.
"This time my work schedule is of ten days and theremaining part of the schedule will be decided afterwards,"said the actor who will return to India at the end of themonth.
"The
Spiderman series has a huge fan following and ona personal level I like British actor Andrew garfield. I don'twant to lose the golden opportunity of sharing screen spacewith a brilliant actor and the challenging role," said Irrfanon his inclination for Hollywood projects.
"After returning I will be on a promotional activityfor my film 'Yeh Saali...'and apart from this I have next filmlined up with Anees Bazmee 'Thank You,' a romantic comedywhose shooting will start simultaneously," he added.
However, Irrfan who had a tough time establishinghimself as a seasoned actor in the tinsel town is going greatguns after starring in a number of Hollywood projectsincluding
A Mighty Heart, Namesake, The DarjeelingLimited, Slumdog Millionaire and his recently released film
Hisss opposite actress Mallika Sherawat.
