Pooja Bhatt: Udaipur top cop manhandled my unit

  • Ms Bhatt tweeted to say that the Udaipur Superintendent of Police or SP, Hariprasad Sharma, had "barged onto our set, manhandled my unit and got extremely abusive".
  • Mr Sharma, however, denied the charges. Mr Sharma said that the film crew, shooting for Ms Bhatt's upcoming film, Bad, at the Udaipur Collectorate had denied him entry to his office, which is on the first floor of the building.
  • "The crew members were adamant...They were not allowing me to enter my chamber and asked me to speak to Mahesh Bhatt over the phone. Though they had permission for shooting here they cannot stop us from entering our chamber," Mr Sharma said.
  • However, Ms Bhatt maintained that the officer had used abusive language and threatened her team.
  • "He was requested to wait for two minutes but he threatened and also used abusive language," Ms Bhatt told reporters in Udaipur.
  • The two parties managed to resolve their differences soon and the SP was later allowed entry into his office.
