Pooja Bhatt will release Jism 2 trailer online after A certificate from censors

Highlights

  • Actor-turned director Pooja Bhatt is an angry woman these days, after the trailer of her much-awaited movie Jism 2 featuring adult star Sunny Leone, was given an 'A' certificate by the censor board.
  • Pooja, daughter of noted director Mahesh Bhatt, took to Twitter and said she would not tone down her trailer to please the Censor Board officials.

  • "Absolutely REFUSE to pare my scheduled trailer down to pander to an over cautious Censor board. Will release promo on the internet instead," tweeted Pooja.

  • And that’s exactly what the angry Ms Bhatt has decided to do:
  • "So we've decided to throw all caution to the winds & go ahead and release our first music promo on June 29'TH as scheduled over the INTERNET. Since we're going the internet way, you'll see an uncensored version! "People who get easily shocked should be shocked more often"
  • Her followers on Twitter were equally indignant on her behalf. One said:
  • "@PoojaB1972 @Jism2 Jism 2 is a movie which doesn't require any TV promotions, its so HOT among exhibitors & audience everybody want 2 watch"

  • Another tweeted:
  • "Go with your gut. Don't pare somethign down if it damages the aesthetic value."

  • Despite the presence of Sunny Leone, the promo that was handed an A rating was, in Ms Bhatt’s words, “a truly watered down verion.” Too bad the Censor Board wasn’t convinced.
