Mumbai: Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor said that he hopes his ex-girlfriend Deepika Padukone brings good luck for him.

Ranbir's 2013 comedy Besharam and his latest outing Bombay Velvet failed to register success at the box office.

"It is not fair to label anyone as a lucky charm. Deepika has worked very hard to be here. She is a dedicated person. I do hope her luck works on me and not mine on her. It's very good. It depends on Tamasha. If the film becomes successful then everyone would be happy to see our pairing," said Ranbir.

Directed by Imtiaz Ali, Tamasha reunites Ranbir and Deepika after 2013 hit film Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani. Deepika has also worked with Imtiaz in Love Aaj Kal and Ranbir and Imtiaz last collaborated on Rockstar.

"Deepika and I worked in the second film of our career Bachna Ae Haseeno and then after a long time, we worked together in Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and now Tamasha. I have seen her growth as an actress. There is so much to learn from her. It is not only heart-warming but inspiring and encouraging to work with her," he added.(Also Read: Deepika Padukone: Dream to be Working With Ranbir Kapoor)

Ranbir also said that Imtiaz and Deepika bring out the best in him. "There is lesser pressure as we have talented people like Deepika and Imtiaz on board for Tamasha. Imtiaz always brings out the best in me and so is the case with Deepika. I have less pressure when I am working with them," he said.

Regarding the title of the film, Ranbir said: "We are in showbiz. Tamasha can be good or bad. But there has to be a limit to it. I have earlier worked with Deepika and Imtiaz and I have had a great experience. I have also learnt a lot of things from Rockstar."

Tamasha is scheduled to release on November 27.
