Salman Khan made his film debut in 1988
Mumbai:
A biography on actor Salman Khan will release on his 50th birthday on December 27.
Titled
Being Salman, the book has been authored by Jasim Khan and will delve into the 'personal life' and 'family lineage' of the actor, a statement read.
The actor, who made his film debut in 1988 with
Biwi Ho To Aisi, shot to fame with Sooraj Barjatya's
Maine Pyar Kiya the following year.
Salman, star of blockbusters such as
Ek Tha Tiger,
Dabangg and
Kick, reunited with the popular filmmaker after a gap of 16 years for
Prem Ratan Dhan Payo which released this year.
Salman was also seen in the role of an 'endearing' character in this year's blockbuster
Bajrangi Bhaijaan. The film made over Rs 300 crores at the Indian box office.
The actor also runs a non-profit charitable organization called Being Human.
The book will also throw light on Salman Khan's personal life, his involvement in the black buck poaching case and the hit-and-run cases.
