New Delhi: As a courtroom drama began unfold some hours away and was then swiftly abbreviated, actor Salman Khan was busy making merry on February 25 on the sets of the film Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. It was director Sooraj Barjatya's birthday and there was party happening on location in Gondal, Gujarat.

In Jodhpur, one state away, a court was to decide if the actor was guilty of illegally owning and using arms to hunt endangered deer in 1998. Salman, meanwhile, was happily feeding his director cake. (Also Read: Salman Khan Verdict Delayed; Rs 200 Crores Riding on Actor)

Sooraj Barjatya, who also directed Salman in Maine Pyar Kiya, Hum Aapke Hain Koun! and Hum SSaath Saath Hai, had three cakes at his party and from the pictures it seems that the crew indeed had a lot of fun.

The court delayed its verdict in the Arms Act case because of a nine-year-old plea - applications had been filed to introduce witnesses - that had never been decided. Salman Khan allegedly hunted endangered blackbuck and chinkara deer while shooting Mr Barjatya's Hum Saath Saath Hain in Rajashthan in 1998.
