Salman on the sets of Prem Ratan Dhan Payo
Superstar Salman Khan, who will be seen in Sooraj Barjatya's Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, is reportedly going to take a world tour to promote the film on a large scale. Salman Khan's previous films with Sooraj Barjatya have always been hits with NRIs and the actor wants to cash in on it.
Salman's tour, if it happens, comes in the wake of actor Shah Rukh Khan's SLAM! series of concerts across America and UK which promoted his film Happy New Year. Fans abroad watched SRK and his co-stars - including actress Deepika Padukone - perform live.
Salman might follow suit and promote his film internationally with live performances. The film's production house is reportedly devising a strategy that hopes to recreate the massive success of SLAM!
Salman, who will be seen playing a royal in the movie, stars opposite actress Sonam Kapoor.
Prem Ratan Dhan Payo is scheduled for release around Diwali 2015.
