Salman tops the list for celebrity hosts

Mumbai: Big stars will be flooding the small screen in the coming months playing hosts on various reality shows.

While Salman Khan anchors Bigg Boss 3, Priyanka Chopra sets the adrenaline racing in Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 3. Big B puts contestants on the 'hot seat' in Kaun Banega Crorepati 4 again as Akshay Kumar dons apron strings.

Hitlist conducted a poll on http://www.mid-day.com/ to ascertain which star the audience was eagerly waiting for. Sallu topped the list with the Big B coming second. PC and Akki keep company at the furthest end.

Very few women anchors have made a big dent. Recall Madhuri Dixit's stint of hosting the matchmaking show Kahiin Na Kahiin Koi Hai? Manisha Koirala's quiz show Sawal Dus Crore Ka? Both were duds. The asli Fear Factor version has a male host Joe Rogan, it works only with him.
