New Delhi:

For Shah Rukh Khan, Happy New Year SLAM Tour Was A Box Of Surprises As the oddball gang of actors from filmmaker Farah Khan's upcoming heist drama, Happy New Year anticipate the movie's release date, they are on a roll spilling some dark if not funny secrets from the days of the shoot. The cast, comprising actors Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Boman Irani, Vivaan Shah and Sonu Sood, has taken upon themselves to charm the world one laugh at a time.

The recently concluded SLAM tour, which was spread over two continents, gave the team of the movie a chance to interact with their fans like never before.

Talking about his experience on tour, SRK says that interacting with a live audience gives him a big high. "I have been working in the studios for 25 years and I don't get to see the people who have made me who I am. So I just want to touch them and let them know. For me, being able to interact with a live audience is a huge high," the actor said.

Shah Rukh also shared the story of a special fan with whom he interacted while on tour. He said, "I met this girl, who came and introduced me to her husband and children and said 'I was 15, and I fainted at your last show and you carried me to the ambulance'." It is these kinds of moments that Shah Rukh says that he looks forward too.

Talking about performing live, Shah Rukh says that it is a difficult job to keep at it for two and a half hours nonstop. He also said that it was especially difficult for his co-stars Boman Irani, Sonu Sood and himself more than it was for actors Deepika Padukone and Abhishek Bachchan. "They (Deepika and Abhishek) are good dancers and can manage a lot of stuff," he reasoned. "But then there were days when we were not even thinking about dancing, there were thousands of people watching us and screaming," reminiscences Shah Rukh.

Further, Farah revealed a rather spooky secret about Boman Irani. She said that her Shirin Aur Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi co-star has a fan from the grave. She said, "Shah Rukh has a Parsi designer friend who told us that her grandmother is Boman's biggest fan. When we asked her how old she is, she said her grandmother is dead." Looks like Boman's fan following goes beyond the realm of the living.

The film produced by Shah Rukh's wife Gauri, under the actor's Red Chillies Entertainment banner, will release a day after Diwali on October 24.
