Shah Rukh Khan's Advice to Ranbir on Handling Flop Films

Shah Rukh Khan's Advice to Ranbir on Handling Flop Films

Mumbai: Time is always of the essence with Shah Rukh Khan but he certainly doesn't crack under the pressure of paucity of time. Just back from Bulgaria we caught up with King Khan who said that he doesn't just survive, he thrives under pressure. Shooting three films, he's certainly got enough of that.

Shah Rukh Khan said," I cannot work if there is no pressure. Recently, I was doing three films at the same time and I had to keep schedules of all three. I have been working 22 hours a day. I don't know for what reason. I think, I felt after Happy New Year that year was so easy. I was doing one film, and having so much fun and eating in nice restaurants in Dubai while I was shooting there and then in America also during the SLAM! tour. Everything was so easy and happy that I decided I cannot be so easy going. So I took on three films and God has been kind. He broke my knee. So, the pressure became even more immense and as we sit and talk, I hope I'll be back on time to Bulgaria for the rest of the schedule of Dilwale.

So King Khan is perhaps a good one to lend some advice to Ranbir Kapoor who has been feeling the heat; thanks to a lukewarm response at the box office lately.

SRK though wouldn't be worried if he was Ranbir. He said, "I don't know if I have advice. As a friend I have chats with him. I met them both actually, had talks with them and yes, all of us are from the film industry. He would know better. He comes from a family which started films in this country. I think that family would know much better, than any of us who can give advice to him. So no advice; the only thing that you need to realise that, if you believe that you have a great talent that Ranbir Kapoor has, nothing can stop him; neither four films nor 40 films. He is a fantastic actor. He is a brilliant actor. "

'Met them both'! Well, that's a telling statement. Looks like Katrina Kaif may be standing by her man quite literally.

And while SRK doesn't have advice per se for Ranbir, Aryan has plenty of advice for his dad. Judging from the way Aryan was taking charge of AbRam as they returned from London we're guessing it could be advice worth taking.

"Aryan has grown taller than me, bigger than me and yesterday we were having a chat, and he said, 'You don't know, you are wrong' and I was like 'You are talking to me?'. I was thinking that 'I just taught you B after A and you are telling me I am wrong?' He is so tall, so big, so strong," Shah Rukh said.

But SRK is far from suffering from the empty nest syndrome. Fatherhood third time around seems to be a charm.

"I don't think I did the time I am spending with AbRam or I think I am a nicer person now and gentler. I enjoy the child more. Yeah, time flies when you see Aryan. Suddenly, he will be going to college next year. He is a grown up boy. He'll be 18. He was telling me in the middle of the talk that, 'I'll be 18. You cannot tell me what to do anymore'," he added.

Though somehow we expect the recently voted hottest dad was planning to do anything but and allow Aryan to know that his time has come.
