Shah Rukh Khan's Happy New Year Has Another Reason to Celebrate

Team Happy New Year celebrated the success of a video game based on the film at an event in Mumbai on October 27.

Shah Rukh Khan's Diwali blockbuster Happy New Year didn't just set off fireworks at the box office, the video game based on the film is also a hit. Director Farah Khan and five of her six 'losers' - SRK, Abhishek Bachchan, Boman Irani, Sonu Sood and Vivaan Shah - celebrated the success of the game at an event in Mumbai on October 27. Lead actress Deepika Padukone was absent from the celebration but later tweeted a photo of Farah and the gents, writing: "Best lookin boys in the business!! Hey, wait for mee!!"

Team Happy New Year were dressed in an uniform of jeans and leather jackets, with the exception of Farah who wore a kurti and pants.

The actors, who have spoken about the strong bond the film created between them, shared hugs and jokes at the event.
 

Shah Rukh Khan, who had been under the weather, professed himself better after a spot of steam inhalation and tweeted a picture of the Happy New Year gang from the event.
 



Happy New Year, which has already made Rs 100 crores, is Farah Khan's third collaboration with Shah Rukh Khan (after Main Hoon Na and Om Shanti Om) and second with Deepika Padukone and Boman Irani. She also starred opposite Boman in 2012 comedy Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi.

SRK, Deepika and gang feature in Happy New Year as a bunch of 'losers' who enter a dance competition in Dubai but really intend to steal diamonds from a bank. It released on October 24.
