A typo from actor Shahid Kapoor has fetched him some uncomplimentary attention on Twitter.
The
Teri Meri Kahaani actor was rooting for boxing champion MC Mary Kom ahead of her match at the ongoing Olympics, like the rest of India.
Except that he neglected to spell her name correctly in his tweet:
There was an instant rush of tweeple correcting him, rather rudely:
Shahid then tweeted again, this time with the correct spelling of the Manipuri boxer's name:
By then, Shahid was already the butt of jokes and trending on the micro-blogging site.
