Subhash Ghai Describes 'Intolerance' as a 'Political Farce'

Mumbai: Filmmaker Subhash Ghai said that the 'intolerance' issue is politically motivated.

Mr Ghai tweeted:











Several celebrities have expressed their opinion on 'intolerance' in the country. After Shah Rukh, Aamir Khan was criticised when he said that his wife Kiran Rao had discussed about moving out of India due to growing intolerance in the country.(Also Read: India is Still Secular But It's Time to Speak Up, Says Nandita Das)

Mr Ghai has made films like Karz, Pardes and Yaadein.

On Facebook , Mr Ghai wrote: "So finally truth has come out today that intolerance is more of a political farce than a social or communal issue where 124cr people including poor n poorest job less less fortunate have been tolerant for years. Treating it as their virtue to be tolerant within given situations. N move ahead with new inspirations."
