New Delhi: Tanu Trivedi and Manu Sharma may be fed up of each other four years on but the box office, at least, can't get enough of them. Aanand L Rai's laugh riot, starring Kangana Ranaut and R Madhavan, has already made Rs 47 crore in India since releasing last Friday and may just hand Bollywood's its first 100 crore film at the Indian box office this year.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted:

It looks like 2015 will be the year of Kangana Ranaut again, after she owned 2014 with Queen. Tanu Weds Manu Returns is ratcheting up business abroad as well and had the biggest opening weekend of this year's Bollywood films overseas.

Meanwhile, PK and Piku continue to lift spirits of the box office pundits. PK, which released in China last Friday and broke all records to become India's highest grossing film overseas, has made Rs 211 crore overseas. Piku, which crossed the Rs 100 crore milestone worldwide yesterday, has minted almost Rs 73 crore in India.

The future looks promising as well with a slew of big banner films lined up for release. Zoya Akhtar's Dil Dhadakne Do releases in June and Salman Khan's Bajrangi Bhaijaan in July. October has Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's Jazbaa, Salman returns with Prem Ratan Dhan Payo in November which also has Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor starring in Tamasha. Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Bajirao Mastani will hit theatres in December while Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol will close the year with Dilwale which releases on Christmas.
