Filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt turned 67 on Sunday and his three daughters, Alia, Pooja and Shaheen expressed their love for him by posting birthday wishes on Twitter. (Also Read:

For her "special, unique" father, Alia had a
Shaandaar tweet:
Pooja, the eldest sibling, shared a picture of the
Arth director along with her birthday wish.
Shaheen on the other hand, was absolutely honest with her thoughts:
Born in 1948, Mr Bhatt made his directorial debut with
Manzilein Aur Bhi Hain in 1974.
The director rose to prominence with his 1982 critically acclaimed film
Arth, followed by
Saaransh in 1984, which was India's official entry for the 1985 Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film.
Movies like
Daddy, Aashiqui, Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahin, Sadak, Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke and
Zakhm further proved his mettle as a director.
In 1987, he turned co-producer with his brother Mukesh Bhatt for the film
Kabzaa, under the banner of Vishesh Films.
His last project as a director was 1999 film
Kartoos, which stars Manisha Koirala and Jackie Shroff.
His last production was
Hamari Adhuri Kahani which stars Emraan Hashmi and Vidya Balan in the lead roles.
