Turns out that when Aamir Khan tweeted the 'first look' of Salman Khan's chin from
Bajrangi Bhaijaan with the caption 'Coming soon,' what we were to expect was the rest of the 49-year-old actor's face. On Twitter, both Aamir and Salman's former foe Shah Rukh revealed the semi 'first look' of their fellow Khan from his new film on Tuesday and his entire face was revealed later, on the stroke of midnight, by the film's official handle.
While the teaser had made Salman's chin, brown sweater-ed neck and silver pendant its focus, the full and final version zeroes in on his face. His forehead is furrowed by a frown, silver in his ears.
Bajrangi Bhaijaan, which stars Kareena Kapoor as Salman's leading lady, is believed to be an inter-faith love story with Salman playing a Muslim and Kareena a Hindu. Nawazuddin Siddiqui also appears in the film.
The teaser version was revealed by SRK first, causing a flurry of excitement as the
Karan Arjun co-stars have only just recently repaired a broken friendship after a public falling-out at actress Katrina Kaif's party in 2008.
Bajrangi Bhaijaan, directed by Kabir Khan, is the first of Salman's two films this year and will release in July to coincide with Eid, as Salman's films do. He also has
Prem Ratan Dhan Payo with Sonam Kapoor coming up later. Earlier this month, the actor was handed a five-year jail term after being convicted of a hit-and-run dating from 2002. The Bombay High Court later suspended his sentence and will hear his appeal in July.
