A still from the trailer of Time Out

New Delhi: Being a teenager is hard enough, what with navigating school, the minefield of dating and the dynamics at home. What happens when you add a gay teen to this mix? Will the ties that bind prove fragile and snap?

New film Time Out, the trailer of which has just been released, explores the story of teenaged brothers, one of who is gay. They discover that growing up isn't just about having a crush, playing in a band or making it to the basketball team.

Directed by Rikhil Bahadur, Time Out stars a young cast led by Chirag Malhotra and Pranay Pachauri in the lead roles. Kaamya Sharma plays their friend and her real life parents Tammy and Amitabh Sharma also have pivotal roles. Most of the students in the film are school-going young adults in real life.

Time Out, produced by Viacom, releases this September.
