- The story of Murder 3 revolves around Randeep Hooda (Vikram) who is a suucessful wildlife photographer. He is dealing with the mysterious disappearance of his former girlfriend Roshni (Aditi).
- The story takes an interesting turn when Vikram gets into a relationship with Nisha (Sara), a waitress from a lounge. She moves in with him in his palatial house outside the city. The house holds many secrets, which Nisha is soon to unearth.
- The film is a remake of popular Spanish film La Cara Oculta.
- From the other end of the spectrum is Jayantabhai Ki Love Story. Vivek plays the role of a don in the film and Neha Sharma falls in love with his character. "It's a true Indian romantic-comedy that's light-hearted, sensitive and entertaining with touch of bhaigiri, for which Vivek is famous for," said producer Kumar Taurani.
