It's action all the way at the box office this weekend with the Bollywood film Tevar and the Hollywood film Taken 3 set for release.
Arjun Kapoor's childhood dream of working with producer father Boney Kapoor comes true with Tevar, a remake of the 2003 Telugu hit Okkadu. Directed by Amit Sharma and produced by Boney and Sanjay Kapoor, the film, an on-the-run love story, also co-stars Sonakshi Sinha.
The plot revolves around a kabbadi player (Arjun) who goes into hiding with his girlfriend (Sonakshi) in order to save her from an unwanted marriage to a faction leader.
The film's chartbusting numbers such as Madamiyan, Radha Nachegi and Let's Celebrate are already a hit with fans.
In the third instalment of the Taken franchise, Hollywood's unlikeliest action hero Liam Neeson returns as an ex government-operative whose life is turned upside down after he is accused of murdering his ex-wife. He is pursued by a police inspector (Forest Whitaker), and eventually employs his skills to track the real killer and extract justice.
Directed by Olivier Megaton, the film also co-stars Maggie Grace and Famke Janssen.
