In the ongoing war between HrithikRoshan and Kangana Ranaut, the actor's legal teamtoday claimed that the actress withheld truth from her lawyer.
"It is quite obvious that his client has withheld thetruth from him, and he has not been privy to the evidenceuntil now," Hrithik's lawyers said in a statement.
After Kangana's emails to Hrithik were leaked allegedlyshowing the actor in a positive light, the actress' lawyerRizwan Siddiquee blamed Hrithik for purposefully delaying theFIR against an alleged imposter who the
Kites star claimedwas speaking to the National Award-winning actress on hisbehalf.
Mr Rizwan Siddiquee said even in the emails leaked to the media, it wasclear that Kangana's sister Rangoli had informed Hrithik abouther account being hacked and she even suggested that theyfile a joint complaint.
"But instead of co-operating, Hrithik stopped allcommunication with my client or her sister and surprisinglystarts receiving a lot of one-sided emails from my client at atime when my clients emails were hacked."
Mr Rizwan said Hrithik is accused of 'hacking my clients'e-mails and also of being in a relationship with my client,besides there being a charge on him that he has also sent alot of stuff in the last 6 months to my client and thereforethere cannot be any imposter".
The 29-year-old actress is set to record her statement asa witness in the imposter case filed by Hrithik on April 30and his legal team claims it will prove the truth.
Come April 30, the investigating agency, entrustedwith investigating (Hrithik) Roshan's complaint shall know thetruth, once (Kangana) Ranaut submits her electronic devicesfor forensic examination and gets her statement recorded inaccordance with the law," Hrithik's lawyer added.
What started as a complaint against an alleged imposterby Hrithik has turned into an ugly public and legal battlebetween the two stars, with both coming up with allegationsand counter-allegations against each other every other day.The 42-year-old Krrish star and Kangana have slappedlegal notices on each other for defamation.
Hrithik, who was the first to send the legal notice toKangana, has demanded that she apologise in a press conferencepublicly and clear the air about their alleged affair which hefirmly refutes.
Kangana sent a counter-notice to the actor, alleging himof 'slut-shaming' by circulating private mails and photos.
