Noida:
Actor Varun Dhawan, who will be seen next with John Abraham in
Dishoom, said that he does not copy any other actor.
"I actually don't try to copy anybody. Obviously, I am the youngest in Bollywood. I've been brought up during the time of the nineties films and have watched Salman
bhai (Salman Khan), Aamir Khan and Shah Rukh Khan's movies. Also I have watched all of John Abraham's films," Varun said at a press conference while promoting his new film
Dishoom on Monday.
"If you ask me whether I have copied John in
Dishoom, then I will say that it was only one scene where we were wearing orange underwear," said Varun.
"That's where I got inspired by John as he is often seen in this avatar in his every fourth film. Only, the colour of the underwear changes," he quipped.
Dishoom, directed by Varun's brother Rohit Dhawan, also stars Jacqueline Fernandez. Parineeti Chopra features in a special song
Jaaneman Aah in
Dishoom.
"It was really nice working with Parineeti. She is a very talented actress. She is looking so good now. In fact, I call her
Parineeti 2.0 now," said Varun.
Dishoom will release on Friday.
