Veteran actor Manoj Kumar is back to direction

  • Akshay is a self-confessed Manoj Kumar fan. The veteran says, “Akshay respects me. In his film Namaste London he said, ‘If you want to know what India is all about, watch Purab Aur Pashchim.”
  • The actor may go for a new leading lady. ''I have an eye for talent,” he said.
  • Commenting on his long absence from direction says, “I am not greedy. While my contemporaries Dharmendra and Shashi Kapoor acted in nearly 300 films each, I’ve done hardly 35 films in my entire career.”
