Vidya Balan nervous about comical role in Ghanchakkar

  • Vidya recently attended an event organised by Indo-American Association to felicitate her for the contribution to Indian cinema.
  • During her felicitation Vidya said, "I am thankful to them for felicitating me. It is a very special moment. I am overwhelmed. I feel blessed and honoured."
  • On the occasion, Vidya's father P R Balan said said he was proud of her daughter's acting in The Dirty Picture. He said he did not find anything vulgar in it and had predicted that the film would be a superhit.
  • Vidya said her parents liked the film and nothing mattered more to her.
  • "I was in between the promotions and when I reached Prithvi theratre they all were crying because I died in the end. My parents have approved of the film and nothing more matters to me," Vidya said.
