Bollywood actress Vidya Balan received the Pride of Kerala Award from the World Malayalee Council.
"Proud to have received the Pride of Kerala award from the World Malayalee Council," wrote Vidya on Twitter.
Vidya, who made her debut in Bollywood with 2005's
Parineeta, also featured in films like
Lage Raho Munna Bhai,
Bhool Bhulaiyaa,
The Dirty Picture and
Kahaani. Vidya also featured in the television serial
Hum Paanch.
Vidya, who was last seen in Mohit Suri's
Hamari Adhuri Kahaani in 2015, is currently busy filming
