Flaunting some serious muscles desi boy John Abraham is now the new poster boy for male grooming.
The ambassador for Philip's India Body Grooming, the actor - who hasn't shied away from endorsing fairness creams - now extends his support to men wanting to trim and groom themselves. He said that it's now the women who tell their men to neaten up.
The actor, who has been riding a wave of success with his home production Vicky Donor which is all set to premiere in China, feels that the West tends to caricature Bollywood movies.
He wants to show the world that Indian cinema is meaningful. He also wants to reach out to his colleagues in the industry and tell them to keep song and dance in films, but not make it all about just song and dance.
Agreeing that Bollywood is a male dominated industry, John Abraham said there were exceptions to the rule.
He feels that the way Meryl Streep in Hollywood has proved with movies like The Iron Lady that a woman can carry a film on her shoulders, Vidya Balan has proved the same in Bollywood with Kahaani.
He also said that she is not just an exception, but exceptional as an actor. The actor said that post Cocktail even Deepika Padukone too is treading the same path.
John Abraham has Race 2 up for a Republic Day release in 2013 and Dostana 2 too goes on the floor next year.
Post Vicky Donor, producer John Abraham has taken Ayushman Khurrana on board yet again for Humara Bajaj and Dilli Silly Love Shove.
Regarding wedding bells, John Abraham will let us know as and when.
