Mumbai: Ranveer Singh is clearly on a career high as fans in Mumbai theatres got a glimpse of this quite literally, over the weekend. Ranveer climbed out of his car to ensure that fans felt his gratitude.

Dilwale may be ahead in the race at the box office, garnering approximately 150 crores worldwide against Bajirao Mastani's approximate 90 crores worldwide. "Bajirao Mastani is one of those rare combinations of a film that is being appreciated at every level," said a clearly elated Ranveer.

For Deepika, it was one particular comment that stayed with her. "I was in the lift and a ninety-year-old woman came into the lift and said, 'Hello Mastani.' These are the moments that we as actors live for," said Deepika.

As for the so called clash, Deepika went beyond mouthing the same old spiel about space at the box office for the films.

When Deepika was asked about being pitted against Shah Rukh Khan, she simply said: "A bunch of my friends are coming from Bangalore and we are all going to watch Dilwale together."

Well, that's one way to silence the clash. Let's face it. The noise from all the applause is probably deafening enough for Deepika and Ranveer.
