New Delhi: The Doli has arrived in theaters and Dolly, played by actress Sonam Kapoor, seems to be winning hearts with her performance as the con-bride on the run.

So is Sonam B-town's new funny face?

"Comedy takes far more effort. It's all about timing and getting it right. Yes, I'm happy that I can make people laugh and more than that Dolly Ki Doli has given me the confidence to take on a lot more work outside that I had been initially wary of. But post Dolly and working with Arbaaz, I realized that there are awesome teams to work with and I have moved from the safety blanket of my home productions," said Sonam.

But what is the one thing Dolly would like to steal from her team?

"Definitely Arbaaz's sense of humor. Even in the stressful of situations, Arbaaz comes up with the craziest of wisecracks. From Rajkummar Rao his talent, from Pulkit Sharma his loose jeans and from Varun Sharma his smile and, of course, body from Malaika Arora Khan," she said.

Sonam, who is glad to have done a film like Dolly Ki Doli, had this advice for brides: "Girls, don't need to saddle and swathe yourself in heavy bridal outfits. Wear what you are comfortable in and please marry the man you love and are confident about, if not you would be like Dolly - on the run."

As the reviews pour in, the producer of the film, Arbaaz Khan, said that reviews are important since they do influence the public. "After all, the viewer is going to be spending his time and money on the film and reviews do influence public opinion. But it's word of mouth that goes for or against the film," said the Dabangg maker.

So is Dabangg 3 next?

"Yes. Was just waiting to wrap up this (Dolly Ki Doli) and then sit with Salman and flesh out what we want from Dabangg 3," Arbaaz added.

Meanwhile, Sonam who is currently shooting for Prem Ratan Dhan Payo and will also be working on her father's home production which is an adaptation of Anuja Chauhan's Battle for Bittora opposite Fawad Khan, has scooped a best actress nomination for her role in Khoobsurat.

So are the life and times of Neerja Bhanot next?

"I will tell you after the interviews," Sonam concluded.
