Mumbai: Actor Arjun Kapoor, who will be playing a house husband in Ki and Ka, said that he cannot relate to his character in the film.

"My character Kabir is not ambitious, unlike me. So I cannot say that I can relate to him," Arjun told IANS.

Arjun, 30, will play an IIT graduate and a house husband to actress Kareena Kapoor Khan's character Kia, an ambitious and a career oriented woman in the upcoming film, which will release on April 1.

"My character in the film has grown up wanting to be like his mother and not like his father. But he has tremendous respect for people who work. He does not look down upon work. He is not a slacker. He's an educated boy from IIT. But he is very clear about why he is like this," added Arjun.

Arjun said that the concept of Ki and Ka is essentially about the importance of understanding in a marriage despite the fact that the wife is a working professional and the husband stays at home.

"Society takes some time to understand these things but that is the quirk of the film, I think," Arjun added.

Ki And Ka also features megastar Amitabh Bachchan and his wife Jaya Bachchan. (Also Read: Arjun Kapoor's Kitchen Confidential: A Kareena-Less Ki And Ka Still)
