Priya Anjali Rai may be a familiar name in certain sections but she's hoping to conquer a more mainstream audience soon. Priya, 35, is an US-based adult film star of Indian origin and she's headed to where Sunny Leone has already boldly gone before her - Bollywood.

However, not for a while yet. Priya has postponed her visit to India by over a month. The hottie's fear - India's scorching heat.

Priya was supposed to come to India for her Bollywood debut with an independent horror film in the last week of May. But she will arrive only in July.

"We were supposed to begin shooting in northern India in the last week of May. But considering that she is not used to the hot weather here, it could have affected her health. So we've changed the schedule after checking with her," Asokan PK, producer-director of the film, told us.

"The agreement has been signed and other formalities have been taken care of. However, the arrival of monsoon has welcomed her back and she should now come to India in the second week of July," added PK.

Priya will now come to India for almost 20 days for her debut Hindi project and will shoot in Goa, Munnar (Kerala), Tamil Nadu and parts of north India.

Priya's decision to go legit in Bollywood may have been influenced by the success of Sunny Leone, who had a hit debut in Jism 2 preceded by a much-discussed appearance on reality show Bigg Boss.

Sunny has also appeared in an item number in Shootout At Wadala and will star in the sequel to Ragini MMS.

However, Priya, who was born in Delhi and moved to the US at the age of two after being adopted by American parents, has chosen as her Bollywood debut a movie as unlike the risqué Jism 2 as can be imagined.

Touted as India's first 4D stereoscopic film, Priya will star in a 90-minute horror thriller titled Beyond The Truth which will release in November this year under the banner of Happytunesmedia.

Announcing her Bollywood project, Priya had also tweeted recently: "Bollywood is calling me....Very very xcitd! Feels amazing to get a chance to go to India and meet my Indian fans."

The movie, PK says, "gives a social message against the evil practice of child sacrifice, where girls less than 10 years of age were ritually killed to please or appease the Gods, spirits or the deceased or even to maintain youth perpetually as part of witchcraft in the interiors of our country".
