Mumbai: Actress Zarina Wahab, mother of actor Suraj Pancholi, said that Salman Khan deserves the entire credit for whatever her son has accomplished in life.

Suraj will make his debut in Bollywood with Hero, which has been co-produced by Salman. Hero is a remake of Subhash Ghai's 1983 film of the same name and also marks the debut of Suniel Shetty's daughter Athiya.

"It's a great feeling. Of course, the credit goes to Salman. My mother would always say that whenever there is any difficulty in life, never complain to the Almighty about it. He will give you great returns in some way or the other. And similarly as returns, we have got Salman. I can say one thing that whatever Suraj is today, is because of Salman. I'm really grateful to him," said Ms Wahab at the cover launch of a magazine which features Salman and Suraj.

She also said that the cover is "fantastic" and that Salman and Suraj looked "rocking". She even quipped that Salman looked better than her son on the cover.

When she was asked whether she was excited about her son's debut film, she said: "Yes, of course, I am excited. Maybe I'll whistle in the theatre. I wish him all the best, he has worked really hard."

Suraj was accused in the case related to the suicide of actress Jiah Khan. The actor, who was allegedly in a live-in relationship with Jiah, was arrested on June 10, 2013 for abetting her suicide on June 3, 2013. (Also Read: Suraj Pancholi: Jiah Khan's Name Will Always be With me, Have no Guilt)

Regarding this incident, Ms Wahab said that since everyone was aware of it, she did not want to talk about it again.

"After every night, comes the morning. And in our lives too, there was a morning in the form of Salman. Every person has to go through good times and bad times, but you just need to have the capability to tackle it," she said.

Directed by Nikhil Advani, Hero is scheduled to release on September 11.
