Rajeev Khandelwal kicks off 2013 with the thriller Table No. 21 which releases today. The story is about a couple who take up the challenge of playing a game of Truth or Lie, which throws them in do or die situations. Model-turned-actress Tena Desae plays the female lead.
According to the director Aditya Datt, the number 21 in the title is linked to Article 21 of the Constitution of India which deals with 'right to life.'
Tena Desae has locked lips with Rajeev Khandelwal on-screen and the actor reportedly had a tough time shooting for his first-ever kissing sequence. Tena appeared in Hollywood movie The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel which has been nominated for two Golden Globes.
The movie has been produced by Sunil Lulla and Viki Rajani and also features Paresh Rawal, who will be seen in a different look.
