Is there anything Shah Rukh Khan can't do? He has ventured into TV production yet again with Ghar Ki Baat Hai on NDTV Imagine.

This new situational comedy series revolves around the hilarious circumstances and events that take place in the lives of the Yagnik family.

Apart from dealing with his everyday problems, Rajdeep Yagnik is constantly put into one-up situations with his incompetent brother in-law Kaku.

The show also focuses on the love-hate relationship between the Yagniks and their next-door neighbours.

Ghar Ki Baat Hai features Sumeet Raghavan as Rajdeep Yagnik, Juhi Babbar as Radhika Yagnik, Swapnil Joshi as Kapil Kumar, Jayati Bhatia as Dolly Ahluwalia and Ali Asgar as Mr. X.

As this is Shah Rukh's First attempt at a sit-com production, he says he thrilled but also nervous about the venture.

King Khan said, ''We have always believed that comedy is a medium that brings people together. Our team at Red Chillies are very proud of this show and we look forward to entertaining audiences week after week.''

The director of the show, Anant Narayan Mahadevan said, ''Ghar Ki Baat Hai is set in today’s time and has situations that audiences can easily relate to.''

Mahadevan adds that it is the humurous touch that they've given to these everyday situations, that will make the show worth watching.

Aziz Mirza, the Creative Director of the show says, ''Today, I believe that audiences thrive for a good family entertainer, one that they can sit, watch and laugh together with.''

Mirza said that the show Yeh Jo Hai Zindagi is the inspiration behind Ghar Ki Baat Hai.

The title track of the show has been composed by Pritam and is sung by Sukhwinder Singh.

Red Chillies Entertainment's first venture into TV was with The First Ladies on NDTV Good Times, where the wives of influential Indians have an open chat with Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla.

Even though Shah Rukh isn't thinking of quitting films, he is into TV in a big way, as he has also announced his new show Knights and Angels on NDTV Imagine and has kept the option of returning to Kaun Banega Crorepati and Kya Aap Paanchvi Paas Se Tez Hain open.
