Amanda met Caleb in a rehab last year
Troubled actress Amanda Bynes has reportedly never dated the guy she claimed proposed to her earlier this week.
The 28-year-old actress recently revealed that she is planning to marry Caleb Pusey, who she met in rehab last year, reported Contactmusic.
"Caleb and Amanda did befriend each other (in rehab), but he says they never dated much less set a date. In fact, he says he hasn't spoken with Amanda in months," a source said.
The 28-year-old beauty has sparked concern for her welfare in recent days and was placed under an involuntary psychiatric hold in Los Angeles last week after she publicly accused her father Rick of sexually abusing her as a child.
Amanda, who was recently arrested for driving under the influence (DUI) and accused of shoplifting, spent five months in a treatment facility in July 2013.
