The 28-year-old got on stage during the concert andannounced that the entire choir would be performing at theAcademy Awards in February, reported New York Post online.
Unsurprisingly, the students were overwhelmed withexcitement at the news and couldn't stop clapping andcheering.
The actress along with James Franco will host the 83rdAcademy Awards that will be held on February 27 next year inLos Angeles.
The actors will be the youngest hosts of the ceremonyfor decades, as the show's producers look to attract a newgeneration of viewers to the live telecast.
