Benedict Cumberbatch married Sophie in a private ceremony
Actor Benedict Cumberbatch and his pregnant fiancee Sophie Hunter secretly married in the presence of close friends and family.
Benedict, 38, and Sophie walked down the aisle at the 12th-century St. Peter and St. Paul Church near Brighstone on Saturday, reported telegraph.co.uk.
The couple, who announced their engagement in November last year, were keen to exchange vows before Sophie delivers their baby.
Among the guests was Benedict's
Sherlock co-star Andrew Scott.
Sophie was shielded from cameras and onlookers by umbrellas as she entered the church. About 40 minutes later, the couple emerged to cheers and left in a vintage Jaguar.
They decided not to pose for photographs after the ceremony, but went straight to the reception.
