Los Angeles: Star Wars actor Harrison Ford has been discharged from the hospital a month after suffering injuries from a plane crash.

Mr Ford, 72, was spotted driving in Los Angeles on March 28, reported People magazine.

He was rushed to UCLA Medical Center on March 5 after crashing his vintage World War II plane on a southern California golf course, leaving him with a large laceration in his scalp and, according to KTLA, broken bones in his pelvis and ankle. Mr Ford's wife, Calista Flockhart, 50, has been his biggest support and has been by his bedside while he recovered at UCLA.

"She (would) drop Liam off in the morning and then spend hours with Harrison. She (brought) him food and reading material," a source said.

While he may be resting now in the comfort of his own home, the actor is most likely still undergoing therapy to treat his reportedly broken pelvis.
