70-year-old actor Harrison Ford will portray a legendary newscaster in the follow up to 2004 comedy movie Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy.

- Harrison looks set to have a busy few years, which will see him work with Abrams again after it was recently reported that he is to reprise his role as Han Solo in the forthcoming Star Wars sequel.
- The actor played the character in the original Star Wars trilogy between 1977 and 1983 along with Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher.
