Harrison Ford's Back in the Air. Flies Plane for First Time After Crash

Mr Ford spent weeks in recovery after crashing his vintage two-seater fighter plane.

Los Angeles: Actor Harrison Ford flew a plane for the first time since his crash in March, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

The 72-year-old actor spent weeks in recovery with to a large head laceration, broken pelvis and ankle after crashing his vintage two-seater fighter plane into the Penmar Golf Course on March 5 due to a mechanical failure.

However, the Indiana Jones star was photographed for the first time dual piloting a helicopter at Santa Monica airport.



Coming in to land the plane, Mr Ford smiling at onlookers, pleased to get his first flight out of the way in the photograph.

Earlier this week, Mr Ford's was also photographed driving to Steven Spielberg's house and he looked "happy".

A source previously said, "Harrison seemed fine and drove himself to Steven Spielberg's house for a visit. After spending weeks in the hospital, he seemed happy to be back at home. He makes small errands and visits friends."
