British broadcaster Sky will launch a
new channel in October to mark 50th anniversary of the Bond
franchise.
Sky Movies 007 which will be launched in October. The
move comes after Sky secured rights to all 22 original Bond
films, as well as the two independent titles, Never Say Never
Again and Casino Royale, in April, reported Daily
Telegraph.
The channel, which will broadcast 24 hours a day from
October 5 until November 4, will also show a number of
Bond-related programmes.
"The Bond movies are a very special franchise and we want
to ensure that our customers will be able to experience it in
a way they've never been able to before," said Ian Lewis,
director of Sky Movies.
