Kate Beckinsale won't go nude in films

Actress Kate Beckinsale says she is not comfortable baring all for a film because she does not want to embarrass her teenage daughter.

Beckinsale, 39, said that she does not want her daughter to go through the same humiliation that she faced during her childhood days when her actor-mother Judy Loe stripped for a TV role in British series Singles, reported Femalefirst online.

"It was a TV thing, and there was a full-frontal nude scene. I had to beat a few kids up the next day. They would come by and say, 'We have seen your mother naked!' It was more slapping and fingernails. But it did the job," Beckinsale said.
