A scent inspired by the James Bond
series, titled 'James Bond 007', is being released in
September ahead of Skyfall, the 23rd movie in the British
spy franchise.
The James Bond aftershave is inspired by the '60s and in
addition to notes of apple and sandalwood, it will have a
retro feel, reported Femalefirst.
Bill Brace, vice president of fashion brands for P&G
Prestige, which is housing the fragrance, said "The aromatic
feugere fragrance family came to prominence in the 60s - it
was unmistakably masculine - mossy and ferny.
"But that was a while ago, so we wanted to move it on and
give it a much more modern and sophisticated shell, which is
why there's fresh apple, cardamom, sandalwood and vetiver."
Although currently marketed for men, a women's perfume
may also be in the works.
