  • Best Supporting Actor Christoph Waltz has a 100% strike rate at the Oscars. He has been nominated for Best Supporting Actor twice and has won both times - this year for Django Unchained and previously for Inglorious Basterds. Both have been films directed by Quentin Tarantino.
  • Best Actress Jennifer Lawrence, 22, is the youngest actress to be nominated for Best Actress twice. She won this year for Silver Linings Playbook and was previously nominated for Winter's Bone when she was 19. Kate Winslet was also nominated twice by the time she was 22, but one of her nominations was for Best Supporting Actress.
