  • Fiennes will next be seen in the screen adaptation of Coriolanus. He is also starring Trevor Nunn's version of The Tempest, which begins performances at the Theatre Royal Haymarket from August 27 and runs through till October 29.
  • Newell wants to shoot Great Expectations on locations in and around London from late August, so if Fiennes did agree to be in the film, he'd have to shoot his scenes during the day and then go off to play Prospero in the evening.
