Revealed: Ben Affleck as Batman and the New Batmobile

  • The film, which will be Batman and Superman's first big screen outing together, will see British star Henry Cavill reprise his role as the Man of Steel. Jesse Eisenberg, best known for playing Mark Zuckerberg in The Social Network, will play arch-villain Lex Luthor, another piece of casting that producers have been called upon to defend.
  • Amy Adams will return as reporter Lois Lane and, much to the delight of fans, the plot also includes Wonder Woman, to be played by little known Israeli actress Gal Gadot.
  • The film, which is supposed to be DC's biggest onscreen adventure till date, is scheduled for a summer 2016 release and will clash with Marvel's third installment of the Captain America franchise.
