New Delhi: Mark Zuckerberg was probably not expecting questions from the Terminator and the smartest man in the world in his Facebook Q&A on Tuesday, but he answered like a boss. Mr Zuckerberg conducted a live chat on his profile page and was asked a VERY important question by Arnold Schwarzenegger.

The former 'Governator' asked: "Mark, I always tell people that nobody is too busy to exercise, especially if Popes and Presidents find time. You've got to be one of the busiest guys on the planet, and younger generations can probably relate to you more than they can the Pope - so tell me how you find time to train and what is your regimen like?"

But that wasn't the VERY important question we're talking about. This was - Arnie ended with: "And by the way - will the machines win?"

Now that's a question that needs answering. Should we be prepared for the Skynet-created apocalypse that spawned a series of successful Terminator films, with the latest out now?

Mark Zuckerberg, as the founder of Facebook, was best qualified to address this and his reply was this: "And no, the machines don't win?"

That's reassuring. And yes, he also answered the first part of Arnie's question: "Staying in shape is very important. Doing anything well requires energy, and you just have a lot more energy when you're fit. I make sure I work out at least three times a week - usually first thing when I wake up. I also try to take my dog running whenever I can, which has the added bonus of being hilarious because that basically like seeing a mop run."

Finding Mr Zuckerberg's reply required a fair amount of patience and scrolling, because a ton of people fell over themselves to interact with Arnold Schwarzengger. Responses ranged from "OMG" to his catch phrase "I'll be back" to information volunteered about their own workout regimens.

Terminator Genisys, film five in the series, opens in India this Friday.

Back to the Q&A. Stephen Hawking also asked Mark Zuckerberg a question. He wanted to 'which of the big questions in science' the Facebook chief would like to know the answer to and why. Mr Zuckerberg said he wanted to know how we could live forever, how to dure all diseases, how the brain works, how learning works and whether there's a 'fundamental mathematical law underlying human social relationships that governs the balance of who and what we all care about."

He bets there is.
