Los Angeles: Actor and former California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger is reportedly set to star in kidnapping drama Cry Macho.

However, it is not clear whether the film will be his first post-office project, Variety reported.

"Gov Schwarzenegger has not made a decision about what his first movie project will be. There are a number of possibilities, but as of right now, no decision has been made," his spokesperson said.

The Godfather producer Al Ruddy is behind the long in the line project, which is based on the 1975 novel by late author N Richard Nash. Nash adapted the screenplay before his 2000 death.
