Chennai: X-Men: Apocalypse, the most anticipated film in the
X-Men franchise, is scheduled to hit the Indian screens on May 20, a week before its release in the USA, Fox Star Studios has announced.
"The
X-Men franchise in India has a huge fan following, in fact one of the highest in Asia; and releasing
X-Men: Apocalypse a week before the USA will give the Indian fans a chance to catch it prior to most countries," Vijay Singh, CEO, Fox Star Studios said in a statement.
The film will be dubbed in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
X-Men: Apocalypse stars James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Oscar Isaac, Nicholas Hoult, Rose Byrne, Tye Sheridan and Sophie Turner.
