And part of this ongoing affair the youngest Kapoor to join the bandwagon released a book on his grandfather, the great showman, Raj Kapoor in Delhi on Tuesday evening.
Ritu Nanda, Raj Kapoor 's elder daughter has written a coffee table book titled Raj Kapoor in Hindi.
In the pictorial tribute Ritu uses Raj Kapoor's own words, taken from interviews, journals and anecdotes to convey a portrait of the filmmaker.
The star of the moment Raj Kapoor's grandson Ranbir Kapoor along with father Rishi Kapoor made the evening a family affair.
"I have read the English one. I haven't read this edition but will surely read it. I have learnt a lot about him about his movies, his passion and his hobbies. Everyone should read it and he was a great artist. His fans have the right to know about the great showman," said Ranbir Kapoor, Raj Kapoor's grandson.
"I have not helped her at all, it is Ritu's hardwork which is in the book," said Rishi Kapoor.
"I think she is bringing out his emotions, his value systems which public didn't know about," said Nikhil Nanda, industrialist.
With the youngest Kapoor ready to debut on the big screen Raj Kapoor's famous quote the show must go on has come true.
