The Incredible Hulk may not look like he's got a desi connection but he definitely has and its in the form of the visual effects studio Rhythm and Hues.
The studio may have its headquarters in Los Angeles but the Hyderabad and Mumbai branches have been just as involved in every move of the green giant.
"As a company we have been working on The Incredible Hulk from the beginning and India has contributed in every stage of the production right from look development all the way to final composites. So, this was not a backend or outsourcing operation. We were involved in every stage," said Samuel Nair, Lead Pipeline, TD.
Artist Sandhya Jadhav in particular worked in depth on ironing out any creases between Hulk and the real life actors on screen and she admits it wasn't easy.
"It was one of the most challenging projects I've ever worked on. In fact we were really scared if we could carry it off. But we ended up learning so much," said Sandhya Jadhav, Lead compositor.
Rhythm and Hues is now in the midst of working on several other Hollywood biggies including Mummy three, The Fast and the Furious four and They come from Upstairs.
But for those who want to know what's really going to be special about The Incredible Hulk here it goes.
"It is amazingly photo realistic. Just the fight sequence between Hulk and Abomination is mind blowing," said Samuel Nair.
